Levels of Membership
1.  Regular members are graduates of the University of Santo Tomas College of nursing who have paid  membership dues for the current membership year. Regular members shall be eligible to run for elective office.

2.  Associate members are those nurses who are not graduates of the University of Santo Tomas College of Nursing, or other professionals who support the mission statement of the Association. They may speak at business meetings but may not make motions, hold office and vote.

3.  Honorary members are those who have rendered extraordinary contributions to the Association and have met the criteria prescribed by the Executive Board. Honorary members must be nominated for approval during  Executive Board meetings.

4. Lifetime members are those who have successfully served and completed their terms as president of the Association
1. All members except honorary and lifetime members shall be assessed for annual dues in the amount specified by  the Executive Board. Annual dues rate may be decided during annual meetings. Members shall be notified of rate change at least six months before it is implemented.

2.. Membership year is from January to December of any given year. Paid dues will cover one full year membership with a portion of the unused membership prorated charged at the time of renewal.

3.  All members shall receive renewal notices at the end of each membership year.

Membership Termination
1. Membership is terminated upon:
  a.  written resignation of the member acted upon by the Executive Board; or

  b. the expiration of the period of membership, unless the member renews sooner
  for a subsequent period, or on the renewal terms set by the Executive Board; or

  c. the occurrence of any event which renders such member ineligible for
   membership, provided that termination for such cause shall take effect only
   upon membership, provided that termination for such cause shall take effect
   only upon expiration of the period (not to exceed one year) for which such
    member’s current membership runs out; or

  d. the determination by the Executive Board that the member has failed in a
   material and serious degree to observe the rules of conduct of the Association,
   or has engaged tin conduct materially and seriously  prejudicial to the interests
   of the Association.

2. Any member suspended or expelled maybe reinstated upon written request of the member and by an affirmative vote of a majority of the members of the Executive Board.
